Mr Berényi has been active with all things internet since 1995, and internet-related business opportunities since 1996. His work experience included jobs at Index.hu, Eduport higher education portal, Gyalogló chat portal, as well as Neo Interactive online agency. Later, as a CEO and online advisor at Onlinemarketing.hu Kft, he’s been mostly dealing with communication solutions from online campaigns to social media marketing. He is the author and editor of one of the popular professional marketing blogs in Hungary, Onlinemarketing (onlinemarketing.blog.hu), reaching #1 spot at the annual Goldenblog contest in 2008 in the category of advisor blogs. He is the co-author of several books, including “Célzott online reklám” (Targeted online ads, 2007), “Online üzlet és marketing” (Online business and marketing, 2011), and “Reklám vagy amit akartok” (Advertisement or what you will, 2012). On top of these, he also frequently publishes articles in publications such as Médiapiac (“Media Market), Tanácsadó Magazin (“Advisor Magazine), and HVG Business Extra. He’s delivered presentations at a multitude of events, including Media Hungary (2009, 2010, 2011), Internet Hungary (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012), Web2 Symposium (2006, 2007), BarCamp Conference (2010, 2012), HVG Online Marketing Workshop (2011), Social Media Conference (2011), as well as Evolution Conference (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). He organizes the conference “Keresőmarketing nap” (“SEO marketing day”). In 2011, he was elected as “Top Dog” blogger by the periodical Marketing & Media.
He teaches at Edutus College, Dénes Gábor College, Werk Academy, as well as at the Net-Works program of Kürt Academy.
In 2014 he was elected by MKB as a member of its “Kiválóságok klubja” (“Excellence Club”). Since late 2013 he is also the founder and CEO of Pontolo.hu Kft, developing and operating a cloud-based loyalty system.
