Jay Kalish is legal counsel and one of the founding partners at OurCrowd, which was started by Israeli venture capitalist Jon Medved in 2012. Jay has over 26 years of legal, investor relations and management experience in Israel. He has served as general counsel to Israeli companies traded on the NASDAQ, including Teledata Communications and e-SIM, as well as to several start-ups. Jay successfully served as a senior investor relations executive to public Israeli companies including Allot Communications and ECI Telecom, building significant institutional following for his companies in the US, Europe and Israel. He also served previously as CEO of the Patir technology incubator, where he succeeded in obtaining follow-on funding for five out of seven early seed portfolio companies. Jay holds a BA in economics from Yeshiva University and a JD from the Cardozo School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in New York and Israel. He volunteers as a medical clown through the Simchat Halev organization in Jerusalem, and in his spare time enjoys photography.
